When mixing a batch of CfM Riverbed—a rich mix of earth pigments inspired by Heidi Gustafson's Book of Earth—we went a little (a lot) heavy on the Blue Ridge Red Hematite. The upside: a new fave color, and cute punny name, in our lineup!
CfM Ultra-Blends are custom colors with endless possibilities! Use them with just a bit of water for full, even saturation, or add more water (and a bit more!), let it all pool and dry undisturbed on your paper, and discover worlds upon magical worlds as the colors separate and settle out!
All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!
Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.
Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
